On 25th February, LONGi held an online seminar focusing on the advantages of BC technology and the core value of Hi-MO X10 modules, aiming at showcasing LONGi's innovative technology and latest achievements through in-depth discussions and exchanges. The seminar was attended by industry authorities and professionals, including PV Magazine, the global authority on solar PV, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems, Europe's leading scientific research organisation, and customer representatives from the German-speaking region, and attracted the participation and attention of many installers.

BC technology leads the PV revolution

During the seminar, Dr Jan Nekarda from Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems shared the advantages of BC technology in enhancing PV efficiency and other aspects.

Dr Jan Nekarda said that BC technology is the way forward because it sets a new industry benchmark by unlocking the highest efficiency of silicon-based cells. At the same time, it can make solar power more cost-effective and sustainable by reducing silver consumption in production. In addition, the front-side gridless structure of BC technology allows for superior design and performance. These insights are highly compatible with the product characteristics of LONGi Hi-MO X10.

On 14th February, LONGi Europe Business Centre Western Europe Representative Office held a product launch of Hi-MO X10 modules in Frankfurt, Germany, marking the official entry of the new Hi-MO X10 modules into the German-speaking market, bringing new vitality to the distributed PV market in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
